Anna Zaida Szapiro (Diskit)
Anna is thrilled to be back on the Azuka stage for this very special premiere. Past credits include Azuka (Tigers Be Still), Orbiter 3 (Emma Goidel's A Knee That Can Bend), PlayPenn/Foundry (Moon Cave), Commonwealth Classic Theatre Company (Rage of Achilles), EgoPo Classic Theater (Death of a Salesman), and others. Anna has collaborated on original, ensemble-driven works with companies including No Face Performance Group, Simpatico Theatre Project, The Renegade Company, and Sam Tower + Ensemble with whom she developed the role of Virginia Langley in September's Fringe Festival hit 901 Nowhere Street. She is a graduate of Headlong Performance Institute. Thanks to Allison and the Azuka team, and to Emma for her beautiful work and words this season.
