Chantel Thea Cumberbatch (she/her) is a proud 1st gen Trinidadian-American excitedly making her Azuka debut! Over the years, she has worked across the Greater Philadelphia region at various regional theaters and educational facilities including, but not limited to, the Wilma Theater, Arden Theatre Company, Simpatico Theatre, Theatre Horizon, Candlelight Theater, Media Theatre, Wolf Performing Arts Center, West Chester University, and the University of the Arts (RIP). With a devotion to exploring all artistic avenues, her career has ranged from Actor, Stage Manager, Director, Teaching Artist, Box Office Manager, to Costume and Props Manager. These experiences have solidified her belief that, “the ensemble of theater is the heart of the art”. She is delighted to work with such talented and passionate people and can’t wait to see what amazingness their collaboration creates.
