Val Dunn (Assistant Director)
Val is a Philadelphia-based writer/director/deviser/performer. She recently graduated from Washington College with a B.A. in Drama and English. This past summer and fall, Val collaborated on a creative research project investigating the eco-critical critical concept of Space/Place/Non-Place. Since moving to Philadelphia, she has worked frequently with the Bearded Ladies (Mommie Queerest, Bitter Homes and Gardens, Andy: A Popera, Bastille Day). Val is currently a member of Writers on the Rocks and The Foundry, a Playwrights' Lab. She is excited to work with Azuka Theatre for the first time on an awesome play.
