Michael Osinski (Director)
Michael is a Philadelphia-based director, deviser, and educator. He was a co-founder and former Producing Artistic Director of Flashpoint Theatre Company, where he directed the Philadelphia premieres of Far Away, Schoolgirl Figure, autobahn, The Dead Guy, An Impending Rupture of the Belly, and Crumble (Lay Me Down, Justin Timberlake). Other directing credits include Homo Andronicus (The Antidote - Chicago), Colder Than Here (Allens Lane), and The Busy World is Hushed (Philadelphia Gay and Lesbian Theatre Festival). He has assisted at Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago, The Old Globe in San Diego, and the Wilma Theater in Philadelphia. He teaches at Rowan University, Northwestern University (Cherubs), and both his alma maters - Drew University and The Theatre School at DePaul University. This summer he'll premiere a new devised work called Solastalgia, in association with The Greenfield Collective, at the Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
